Lone Star by Carl Stevens
February 4 @ 10:30 am - 3:00 pm

Lone Star
The Radiant Star, also known as the Lone Star, is one of the most popular patterns with quilt lovers, because it can be made with so many different color combinations. This class will be using the “standard strip piecing” technique that simplifies the construction of the Lone Star units. In the pre-class session, you will be guided through the fabric and color selection process and the sizing of the actual Lone Star, that will allow you to create the final Lone Star to your own requirements. Although this quilt is very complicated looking, it is quite easy to assemble and the instructor will assist you in assembly and how to perform the needed “Y” seams. There is no “paper piecing” in this type of quilt construction.
